Few cars have shaken the automotive world like the Bugatti Veyron did upon its launch in 2005. Not only was it the fastest car in the world, but it was designed to do it without drama and featured statistics that every car obsessive from the early 2000s had memorized. So, as production of the Veyron came to an end in 2015, there were some sizable shoes to fill--and it should be no surprise that they succeeded once again with their new model, the Chiron. Like the Veyron, the Chiron is named after one of Bugatti's legendary pre-war race car drivers, and was powered by a heavily updated version of the Veyron's 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16. Not only was the Chiron faster than the Veyron, but it was also designed to be easier to own- no longer did you need to send wheels to Bugatti in France to replace the tires and it doesn't require replacement of the wheels after 4 tire changes.
This 2019 Bugatti Chiron is a uniquely stunning example of an already stunning car, that shows just 1,278 miles at the time of cataloging. Benefiting from a staggering €349,000 in factory options, the original owner took full advantage of the wide array of customizations available from Bugatti, and produced a specification that is as much art as it is vehicle. The exterior of the car takes advantage of the Chiron's unique "C" shaped side profile- done as a tribute to the classic Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic- and makes a perfect dividing line for a two-tone finish. The front section of the car is painted in Glacier White, while the A-pillars, Roof, Sills, and rear half of the car, are all cloaked in stunning Turquoise exposed carbon fiber. Along the dividing line of the two colors sits a large, single piece of stainless trim, which gives the car the appearance of moving at speed while it is just sitting still. 21" split-5-spoke wheels are finished in a combination of dark blue paint with diamond-turned faces and are wrapped in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Tires.
